Perstorp announced the sale of Bio Products, a producer of biodiesel and glycerine in Scandinavia, to a Swedish investor together with a member of the subsidiary’s management team. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Perstorp wants to substantially expand the production capacity of its non-phthalate polyester plasticizer Pevalen from 2019 onwards. To this end, the company has entered into a long-term production agreement with Italian company Alcoplast.
PAI Partners announced the transfer of their interest in Perstorp from PAI Europe IV to a new fund managed by PAI Partners and backed by Landmark Partners and other co-investors. As a part of the deal, the investors of the new fund have agreed to commit approx. $ 150 million for investment activities.
Perstorp is making progress in ‘future-proofing’ its Capa caprolactone monomer plant in Warrington, UK. The monomer plant will be made more robust to ensure an even more reliable supply for customers around the world, the company announced.
