The 2026 Chillventa European Refrigeration Exhibition was held in Nuremberg, Germany from 13 to 15 October. Boasting an exhibition area of over 66,000 m², it assembled more than 1,150 enterprises from over 50 countries, ranking among the highest-level industry events for the global HVAC-R sector.

Having participated in Chillventa for more than ten successive years, Snowman Group brought its three brands SRM, RefComp and Snowkey to a 200 m² custom-built booth in Hall 4A. Under the theme "Natural Refrigerants + Integrated Heating-Cooling", eight core product series were displayed, and cutting-edge technologies and solutions were shared at the exhibition forums.

The 2026 Chillventa hosted the dedicated industry congress Heat Pumping Technologies for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Applications.

Mr. Rudiger Rudischhauser, European Sales Director of Snowman Group, delivered a keynote speech at this heat-pump congress, introducing Snowman's industrial heat-pump technologies and accomplishments:

• Snowman's heat-pump portfolio is built upon three technical routes: CO₂ transcritical, high-temperature ammonia and steam heat pumps.

• The product matrix includes SRH high-pressure screw compressors, SPT/SPTH transcritical piston compressors, SRC-G high-temperature screw compressors, STC oil-free steam compressors and SCM magnetic-levitation compressors.

• Heating output temperatures range from 40 °C up to 200 °C, enabling full-scale replacement of traditional heating forms such as industrial boilers.

• Products are sold to over 120 countries and regions, with heat-pump projects deployed across the globe.

• Notable benchmark projects include district heating for millions of residents in Copenhagen (Denmark), district-energy stations in Munich (Germany), high-temperature steam systems for asphalt plants in Sweden, the zero-carbon wind-powered ammonia heat-pump demonstration project at Emperor Town (Zhangjiakou), and combined heating-and-cooling supply for multiple Shuanghui Group production bases. These deliver practical decarbonisation solutions for global industries.

As a global leader in energy and power high-end equipment, Snowman Group centred its exhibition displays on natural-refrigerant compressors and associated units. Numerous global partners visited the booth for exchanges to discuss pathways toward sustainable development.

SRS 10-Year Milestone: Technological Evolution from Low-temperature Specialisation to Full-scenario Coverage

2026 marks the 10-year global launch anniversary of Snowman Group's SRS series semi-hermetic ammonia screw compressors. Snowman held a milestone-celebration ceremony on-site at Chillventa. Distinguished guests including representatives from the International Institute of Refrigeration, the European Heat Pump Association, the Chinese Society of Refrigeration, together with well-known industry media ATMOsphere and JARN attended the event.

Multiple guests delivered opening remarks and thematic presentations. Project and cooperation retrospectives were shared by Snowman clients from all continents. Over the decade, the SRS series has evolved beyond a single product to embody Snowman's unwavering strategic commitment to natural refrigerants.

Since its global launch ten years ago, the SRS series has accumulated abundant real-world application cases worldwide. Its proven strengths of natural-refrigerant compatibility, high energy efficiency and reliable operation validate Snowman's leading-edge technology and refined manufacturing craftsmanship.
