Aveva announced the commercial availability of its new plant design software Everything3D. The software drives the adoption of Lean Construction by enabling Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractors (EPCs) to break down barriers between design and construction, reducing overall project cost, schedule and risk. It consits mobile computing, cloud computing, and laser scanning to enable Lean construction in plant project execution. Rework in plant construction can significantly impact project costs and schedules.
